The BARCOVISION 8100 light cannon is BARCO's ultra high resolution LCD light-valve projector for video applications. Equipped with high resolution LCD panels, the BARCOVISION 8200 can display all video sources in PAL, SECAM and NTSC, and is compatible with all PC provided with a standard VGA graphics card or S-VGA, as well as MAC thanks to the Pixel Map Processor.

This makes the BARCOVISION 8100 a powerful display device for rental business, sports events, conferences, corporate and software seminars.
Highly advanced optical system
A powerful 650 W metal-halide lamp working in unison with three active matrix Liquid Crystal panels (5.8" diagonal) producing extremely bright images on screens up to 15 m (50 ft.) wide.

Broad video compatibility
The BARCOVISION 8200 can display video sources (PAL, SECAM, NTSC) in Composite, S-VHS, Component (Y, R-Y, B-Y), and RGB format. As well as HDTV, extended and improved television standards.

It is also compatible with most computer signals from PC graphics boards : CGA, EGA, VGA, S-VGA (through windowing 1:1) and with most Macintosh computers with 640 x 480 resolution.

Ultimate flexibility
The projector can be used in front or rear-screen installations, and in table or ceiling mount configurations. In addition, the projector can be integrated in a dual or triple configuration on one single screen. The projector can be used in horizontal, vertical as well as sideways position thanks to a heavy-duty cooling system.
